### Creating Open-ended Problems to Improve Students’ Abductive Reasoning in Mathematics Classroom

*Abductive reasoning is an important part of mathematical reasoning, helping students to explain puzzling observations and to discover new knowledge. The development of students’ abductive reasoning should be a concern for mathematics educators*. *Our** previous studies already showed that students use abductive reasoning when facing with open-ended problems. By continuing developing our past results**, this paper aim to propose **some ways to create open-ended problems to improve **students’ abductive reasoning.*
